Welcome to The 501 Project, a whitelisted Arkansas-based roleplay server focused on serious, realistic, and immersive roleplay. These rules exist to ensure fair play, realism, and high-quality RP for everyone. Failure to follow these rules may result in warnings, strikes, removal from whitelist, or bans.
1. Core Roleplay Expectations
1.1 Strict Roleplay
This is a strict RP server. You are expected to act realistically at all times.
Treat every situation as if it were happening in real life.
Value your character’s life and others’ lives at all times.
1.2 Character Realism
Characters must have realistic names (no joke, meme, or famous names).
Characters must act consistently with their background and profession.
No superhuman abilities, unrealistic strength, pain tolerance, or knowledge.
1.3 Metagaming (MG)
Metagaming is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:
Using out-of-character information in character.
Using Discord, streams, or private messages to gain in-character advantages.
Acting on information your character did not realistically obtain in-game.
1.4 Powergaming (PG)
Powergaming is not allowed, including:
Forcing roleplay outcomes on others.
Performing unrealistic actions without giving others a chance to respond.
Ignoring injuries, restraints, or realistic limitations.
1.5 FailRP
FailRP includes:
Breaking character without proper reason.
Unrealistic reactions to situations (gunshots, crashes, injuries).
Refusing to roleplay valid scenarios.
2. New Life Rule (NLR)
If your character is fully killed or force-respawned, you may not return to the scene.
You may not remember events leading up to your death.
NLR applies until the RP situation has fully concluded.
3. Value of Life (VoL)
You must value your life and the lives of others at all times.
Fear must be shown when threatened with deadly force.
Suicide RP requires staff approval.
4. Combat & Violence Roleplay
4.1 Initiation
Proper roleplay initiation is required before hostile actions.
Clear verbal threats or realistic escalation must occur.
4.2 Gunplay
No random shootings or unrealistic gunfights.
Shots fired must have realistic consequences.
Do not treat gunfights as a "win or lose" mechanic.
4.3 Injuries
Injuries must be roleplayed realistically.
EMS roleplay is required when appropriate.
Repeated gunshot wounds, crashes, or trauma should result in serious consequences.
5. Law Enforcement Roleplay
LEOs must follow realistic Arkansas-based policing standards.
Abuse of power, corruption, or RDM is prohibited unless part of approved RP.
Chain of command must be respected.
Proper escalation, communication, and procedures are required.
6. Criminal Roleplay
Criminal RP must be realistic and well thought out.
No unrealistic robberies, heists, or constant high-risk crime.
Fear of law enforcement must be shown.
Major criminal storylines may require staff approval.
7. Roleplay Zones
7.1 Safe Zones
Certain areas may be designated as safe zones.
No violent RP is allowed in safe zones unless staff-approved.
7.2 High-Risk Areas
High-crime areas still require realistic behavior and escalation.
8. Vehicle Roleplay
Vehicles must be driven realistically.
No unrealistic speeds, stunts, or GTA-style driving.
Vehicle damage must be roleplayed properly.
9. Communication Rules
No OOC chat in IC channels.
Do not break immersion using memes, jokes, or slang during serious RP.
Use /me and /do commands accurately and realistically.
10. Exploits & Cheating
Any form of cheating, exploiting, or bug abuse is strictly prohibited.
Report bugs to staff immediately.
11. Staff Authority
Staff decisions are final.
Arguing with staff in public channels is not allowed.
Staff abuse or impersonation will result in severe punishment.
12. Punishments
Violations may result in:
Verbal warnings
Written strikes
Temporary suspension
Removal from whitelist
Permanent ban
Severity depends on the offense.
13. Rule Changes
Rules are subject to change at any time.
